The Concord Orchestra presents “Vignettes.”  The orchestra, conducted by Music Director Zeke Fetrow, performs a program of Gustav Holst’s A Somerset Rhapsody, Dmitri Shostakovich’s Suite for Variety Orchestra, Georg Philipp Telemann’s Trumpet Concerto in D Major, and Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.  A pre-concert talk is scheduled for 7:15 pm on Saturday. Tickets for adults and seniors are $25. Admission for youth under 18 is free.

Bring your favorite tune, your instrument, and open ears to CCM’s Monthly Jazz Jam, where faculty member Giuseppe Paradiso sets the stage for musical collaboration, exploration, and enjoyment, and provides a space where all jazz musicians will feel at home. This monthly gathering welcomes players of all levels to join the house rhythm section, request songs, and build new musical friendships.

Come and learn visible mending, a hands-on, sustainable technique that repairs your favorite textile while adding unique character and style. Bring a few beloved textiles in need of repair. Beginners welcome! Be creative and make new friends!

Prepare for an evening of rare chamber music gems as local harp trio, Trio Oko appears in the Beyond the Notes concert series. Joined by founder and violinist Sarah Whitney, the ensemble presents a colorful program spanning both geography and time, from the refined sound world of Saint-Saëns and Ravel to original compositions and the ethereal soundtracks of Studio Ghibli. In keeping with the mission of Beyond the Notes, audiences are invited to engage directly with the artists by submitting questions, which will be answered live during the performance. Additional questions will be addressed following the concert and in weekly social media features, continuing the series’ commitment to breaking down the traditional barriers between performers and audiences.

With the Concord250 Lantern in the lead and hundreds of creative, handmade lanterns joining in, we will transform the dark, winter night into a celebration of light, creative expression, and community. Join the Concord Conservatory of Music for a special family performance featuring an original musical setting of Margaret Wise Brown’s beloved classic, Goodnight Moon. This unique event blends chamber music, storytelling, and captivating visuals to introduce children to the wonders of live performance. 

The Umbrella Stage Company proudly presents TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, directed by Scott Edmiston and dramatized by Christopher Sergel, based on the book by Harper Lee.  Adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, To Kill a Mockingbird opens in a sleepy Alabama town in the midst of the Great Depression, where Scout and her brother, Jem, live with their widowed father, lawyer Atticus Finch. While the children act out stories and muse about their mysterious neighbor, Boo Radley, the facade of their seemingly peaceful town begins to crack when a young black man is accused of a terrible crime. Driven by an unshakeable moral conviction, Atticus defends the man in a trial that sends violent waves through the community, teaching young Scout about prejudice, compassion and the courage to do what is right.
