On June 5 and 6, the Concord Museum Guild of Volunteers welcomes community members to join the 37th Garden Tour. This beloved annual event invites ticket holders to tour six stunning private gardens throughout the Concord area, drawing inspiration from a variety of plantings, landscape designs, and approaches to outdoor living.
This year’s gardens offer a wide variety of styles and features, including decorative elements, vegetable beds, manicured spaces, naturalistic designs, native species, and showstopper plantings. Each offers an approach to creating gardens that blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, complement the architectural features of the home, and offer delightful settings for everyday living.

For many, the plantings of the Garden Tour are the highlight of the tour experience. Each ticket holder is given a tour booklet that includes descriptions of each garden that can be used to identify select plantings. From boxwoods, azaleas, and hostas, to echinacea, bleeding heart, wildflowers and ornamental trees – the tour showcases a wealth of mature plantings.

The experience, however, is not confined to vegetation. This year’s gardens also highlight expansive patios, immaculate pools and water features, hand-cut fieldstone walls, winding paths, and terraces. These elevated hardscape elements and gathering spaces create dynamic outdoor areas that encourage exploration, relaxation, and connection.
Tickets for the Garden Tour will go on sale April 27 at ConcordMuseum.org. All proceeds from the tour benefit the Museum’s vital school programs that serve over 15,500 students every year.
