Step into the magic of the nighttime world! Join the Concord Conservatory of Music for a special family performance featuring an original musical setting of Margaret Wise Brown’s beloved classic, Goodnight Moon. This unique event blends chamber music, storytelling, and captivating visuals to introduce children to the wonders of live performance. 

Prepare for an evening of rare chamber music gems as local harp trio, Trio Oko appears in the Beyond the Notes concert series. Joined by founder and violinist Sarah Whitney, the ensemble presents a colorful program spanning both geography and time, from the refined sound world of Saint-Saëns and Ravel to original compositions and the ethereal soundtracks of Studio Ghibli. In keeping with the mission of Beyond the Notes, audiences are invited to engage directly with the artists by submitting questions, which will be answered live during the performance. Additional questions will be addressed following the concert and in weekly social media features, continuing the series’ commitment to breaking down the traditional barriers between performers and audiences.

Witness the evolution of jazz at CCM. Join us for a milestone performance featuring a powerhouse lineup of the faculty and alumni who have shaped our sound for over two decades: Tucker Antell on saxophone, Brian Friedland on piano, Ehud Ettun on bass, Brooke Sofferman on drums, and Phil Sargent on guitar.

The Concord Orchestra presents “Vignettes.”  The orchestra, conducted by Music Director Zeke Fetrow, performs a program of Gustav Holst’s A Somerset Rhapsody, Dmitri Shostakovich’s Suite for Variety Orchestra, Georg Philipp Telemann’s Trumpet Concerto in D Major, and Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.  A pre-concert talk is scheduled for 7:15 pm on Saturday. Tickets for adults and seniors are $25. Admission for youth under 18 is free.
