Event Description

Back by popular demand, Native Concordian, world-renowned naturalist, lecturer, birder, and author Peter Alden will present his new memoir, My Wild Life: Rare Birds, Close Calls, and the Adventures of an Eco-Explorer. Book signing will follow.


Alden will share stories and photos from decades of travel to over 100 countries and 7 continents. All ages are welcome. Signed copies are now on sale at the Thoreau Society's Shop at Walden.


Reasonable accommodations upon request. Parking is first-come, first-served. On sunny days, holidays, and weekends, Walden Pond often closes due to capacity.
