Event Description

The Umbrella's expanded Concert Series in partnership with Salt Lick Incubator, showcases some of your future-favorite musical acts that have emerged through the Salt Lick program. Each concert spotlights the incredible talents of tomorrow's groundbreaking artists, creates support, and lets you say you knew them back when! Come be part of the music at The Umbrella's spring Salt Lick Sessions concert on Friday, March 27, featuring Claire Ernst & Dani Offline. ABOUT THE ARTISTS: Claire Ernst is an emerging pop/R&B artist out of Nashville, who just released her debut full-length album, Oh, Hello!: a vibrant introduction of her artistry to the world. Striking a fresh balance of Nashville Songwriting, pop hooks, and R&B grooves, she is genre-blending and bending with every new release. Dani Offline is a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist making analog R&B for the 21st century. Inspired by jazz and classic “Quiet Storm” radio of the 70s, her sound is at once sensual and introspective, combining poetic lyricism, ethereal vocal improvisation, and retrofuturist sensibilities.

    Discover the Battle Road

“The flames of sedition spread.” So wrote General Thomas Gage in September 1774 after armed colonists forced the closure of the county courts in Springfield and Great Barrington. The crisis was escalating—and revolution was drawing near. Discover the story in “The Massachusetts Court Closures: The Flames of Sedition Spread.” And when spring arrives, why not see the history for yourself? “Lexington’s Historic Landmarks: Tracing the Roots of the Revolution” highlights nine sites in Lexington that bring the opening chapters of the Revolution to life.
