Event Description

Technique Toolkit: Hands-On Recording Session. Ready to capture your sound with professional clarity? Join CCM faculty member Daniel Fox for an intensive, hands-on session at the cutting-edge CCM 2 Media Lab. This small-group workshop is designed to move beyond basic concepts and give you practical, real-world guidance on achieving industry-standard results. In this session, you will learn the fundamental tools of the trade, industry best practices, and professional workflows for recording. We will dive deep into essential techniques, including mic placement and signal flow, focusing specifically on achieving high-quality recordings for vocals, acoustic guitar, and other instruments. This is a unique opportunity to benefit from Daniel Fox’s experience, gaining practical insights and real-world guidance to solve common recording challenges. Who Should Attend? This workshop is designed for musicians, producers, and recording enthusiasts (ages 13 and up) who have a little prior experience with recording software or instruments and are ready to take their skills to the next level.
